I Just can’t imagine why anybody over the age of 10 would be somewhat cynical about Valentine’s Day (ahem). But if you are, check out the exhibit at Roots Division, an alternative art space on the fringes of one of the more colorful parts of the Mission. Their current show, “The Museum of Broken Relationships,” displays anonymously donated objects from all around the world in an effort to expunge and heal painful memories of past loves. The tongue in cheek exhibit opens on Saturday (from 7-10 PM).So, let go of of those memories by donating them to the collection, smile at the motley collection of objects from former loves and support a local art space.
